Study of the evolution of technology as it impacts the creation and development of electronic music on a global scale, from earliest experiments to current practice. Trends in electronic music composition in the United States, Europe, and Asia are lensed through both perspectives of art€ and pop€ music. Sound synthesis principles illustrated on personal devices: iPhone, android, tablet, iPad. No musical ability required. Varies.
