This online course precedes the practicum/capstone project required for completion of the Master's Degree in Nutrition and follows the statistics course. You will build a base of knowledge about research methods and then work independently to develop a research project. You will work through the steps of formulating a research question, developing a testable research hypothesis, designing a study, and designing data collection methods. You will learn how to protect human subjects and health information. You will be able to understand and interpret published research. Prerequisite or Co-Requisite: HFN 570.
