ENG 095 emphasizes the strategic reading and writing skills needed for academic success. Students will read materials from multiple academic disciplines and respond in writing appropriate to both the rhetorical situation and to discipline-specific traditions. ENG 095 is a co-requisite course to ENG 101/Composition I for students who place into it via the FLCC placement process. Materials and assignments from Composition I serve as a source for discussions and activities in Analytical Reading and Writing.
