Students will be introduced to foundational concepts in social media marketing and strategic communication. In this course, students will gain hands-on experience with a wide range of social media tools and platforms through case studies and project-based learning involving local businesses/nonprofits. Students will demonstrate proficiency in social media strategy, including; audience analysis, content planning and creation, social media marketing tactics, and success evaluation. At the completion of this course, students will have the necessary knowledge and skill set to launch an effective social media campaign.
