Students will be introduced to methods, strategies, and techniques used in the management of elementary and secondary classrooms. Students will develop appropriate classroom management skills and strengthen their understanding of the relationships among classroom environment, classroom behavior, and learning. Students will gain knowledge of disciplinary and management models, strategies to increase achievement and motivate learners, and skills to manage inclusive classrooms. Students will create a classroom management plan that aligns with their philosophy of education.
