You will learn the same curriculum as our on-campus students
Students will acquire basic American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary and grammar skills that will enable them to effectively communicate in common and/or routine social interactions with a Deaf person. Conversational topics include but are not limited to the following: sports and leisure activities, preferences and opinions, dining out, describing appearances and personality traits, occupations, and health and medical situations. Students will also develop insight and understanding of the Deaf culture and community through exploration and comparing with their own culture and experiences.
Prerequisites:
